Tasks

-Identify and implement improvements to tank maintenance processes and procedures. -Develop and optimise tank offstream repair and upgrade scopes to reduce cost whilst delivering safe, reliable and compliant assets. -Provide detailed planning and scheduling for tank maintenance works. -Work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Operations, Engineering) and external contractors to ensure tank repair methodologies are optimised. -Provide technical support for the planning and execution of tank maintenance activities to ensure best practises are being applied effectively and drive compliance to regulatory requirements and company procedures. -Travel to Viva Energy Terminals across Australia to support tank inspection and maintenance works.

What You Bring

-Degree qualified in engineering or trade qualified with extensive industry experience. -Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining or similar heavy industry sector. -Experienced with planning and scheduling of maintenance or construction works (Primavera P6 experience highly desirable). -Able to positively influence a diverse stakeholder group that includes senior management, engineering, operations and contractors. -Solid technical knowledge of tank inspection and tank maintenance processes and requirements (e.g. API653)
