The Role

Overview

Manage project costing, budgets, manhour tracking, and vendor invoicing in marine projects.

Tasks

-Update the cost and cashflow risk for monthly risk summary report. -Review and verify the vendor, supplier and/or subcontractor invoices. -Set the project budgeted manhours. -Review and assess vendor, supplier and/or subcontractor variation order requests. -Create the project definition and maintain the work breakdown structure in SAP. -Review the prime cost and develop the project assigned budget. -Update overall project costing projection. -Report on weekly basis manpower consumption and raise to the Project Management's attention any abnormality. -Prepare and submit monthly project report summary. -Report on weekly basis the cost incurred and raised to the Project Management's attention any abnormality. -Monitor the actual and committed cost against the assigned budget. Compare the incurred cost against the progress. -Monitor the actual manhours against the budgeted manhours. Compare the consumed manhours against the progress. -Assign and maintain the project work breakdown structure for cost monitoring.

What You Bring

-Degree/ Diploma in Naval Architecture/ Marine and Offshore / Electrical Engineering, Certificate of Competency (Marine Engineer Officer) Class 1 (Motorship), or its equivalent -Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience -Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment -Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
