The Role

Overview

Lead a team to manage commercial analysis for CAPEX and connections in energy networks.

Tasks

-Deal with external suppliers in terms of issues with regards outstanding debt, clearance of PO’s etc. -Liaise with EN Control with regards to mailbox traffic to ensure the Design & Delivery sides of the SPD Energy Networks business can operate effectively and efficiently. -Prepare reports, pull data and present findings to various levels of stakeholders -Identify, prepare and carry out final commercial checks on closure packs prior to submission to EN Control -Complete ad hoc tasks individually and with the Team to produce results and adhere to strict deadlines -Provide support for both the SAP PM and PPM systems to the Districts and deal with a high volume of workflows -Liaise with District QS team to ensure all billing is progressed on projects with milestone payments and billing on completion as well as variations to existing projects

What You Bring

-Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team. -Ability to write clear, concise reports and communicate complex information effectively to a diverse audience. -Highly numerate and fully computer literate, with proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. -Analytical experience within Civil Engineering or the Utilities Industry, combined with commercial awareness. -Strong decision-making skills and the confidence to challenge when necessary. -Solid understanding of the Energy Networks business and its commercial drivers. -Good working knowledge of SAP systems. -Proven experience leading a team of individuals.
