The Role

Overview

Assist and learn HVAC installations for new homes, advancing to full technician duties.

Tasks

-Working on ladders up to 32 feet -Installing and brazing refrigeration line sets -Installing registers and grilles -Installing residential HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, etc.) -Fabricating and installing sheet metal ducts and transitions -Performing outdoor work in all weather conditions (extreme temperatures) -Assisting with system start-up, testing, and balancing -Using test equipment -Measuring and threading piping -Assisting Installation and Senior Technicians on the job

What You Bring

-Construction background or mechanical experience a plus -Valid NYS driver’s license (must be insurable under company policy) -Lifting up to 100 lbs. and carrying loads up to 50 feet -High school diploma or equivalent -Comfortable working at heights -Strong communication and reading skills – able to follow written instructions and talk comfortably with customers and coworkers -Dependable and able to work efficiently under changing schedules or time pressures
