Overview

Install and fabricate commercial ductwork, sheet metal, and related systems.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Responsible for working with fiberglass, plastics, and other nonmetallic materials -Use scribers, dividers, and squares to mark dimensions on materials -Interpret blueprints and complete layouts if necessary -Measure and cut appropriate size of sheet metal, as well as install preassemble duct -Inspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications

What You Bring

-General knowledge of piping and controls, AC install, retrofit, fiberboard -1-2+ years in commercial duct installation -OSHA 10 or 30 preferred -Strong working knowledge of job site safety -Ability to understand schematic diagrams, blueprints and other specifications -Experience working with hand tools and power tools -This individual will be responsible for being proficient in all styles of duct (spiral, galvanized, rectangular, double-wall, SnD, etc.)
