The Role
Overview
Lead 80+ buyers, manage procurement, shortage, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Tasks
-Work on shortage management with buyers, provide assistance in resolving Accounts Payable, warehouse and RTV challenges, follow up to ensure PO’s are placed on time, there are no past due orders, work on POAN action items. -Ensure detailed process documentation in place for training new employees coming onboard. -Drive voice of customer improvement themes in alignment with Customer feedback. -Handle escalations if any and escalate matters requiring the senior management’s attention on a timely basis. -Mentor the team and guide them towards effective discharge of functions. -Ensure there are no Production line-down situations. -Drive employee engagement and communication programs (quarterly one to one meeting with each employee, skip level meetings, etc.). -Drive Standardization of reports and processes across Teams. -Perform root cause analysis to expedite the resolution of service issues. -Schedule regular calls with Suppliers and drive supplier performance improvement. -Perform Quarterly / Annual performance appraisals for the team members. -Give presentations to the Top Management w.r.t the Business and drive QBR reviews with Sites. -Handle a team of 80+ Buyers. -Consolidated, Automate and Eliminate reports and processes. -Identify, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies to drive continuous improvement in the execution of procurement processes. -Be Back-up to Operational Regional Directors. -Train new and existing team members on an ongoing basis on relevant tools or topics. -Prepare Customized reports for analyzing and incorporating improvements in processes. -Drive Process improvements and have a succession plan in place for all critical resources. -Align and Drive productivity targets for the Team. -Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics. -Coordinate with GBS Management for Internal Customers’ visit. -Ensure participation in BCP drill and work on continues improvement of BCP plan. -Ensure timely generation and circulation of reports/dashboards. -Ensure ZERO non-compliance during Statutory audits.

What You Bring
A purchasing professional who can quickly and accurately process purchase orders in a fast-paced environment. Has excellent stake holders service skills and works well in a team to consistently meet challenging performance targets. -Mandatory Knowledge of computer software applications, MS Excel, Word & PowerPoint (PF). -Experience in Manufacturing industry preferably in electronics. -Knowledge of ERP (Preferably BAAN). -Typically requires a minimum of 12+ years of related experience. Master’s degree preferred. -Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook. -Experience in the following domains: Order processing, Supply chain management, Order management, Procurement end to end preferred. -Good analytical skills. -Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and extensive knowledge of purchasing policies and practices. -Excellent communication skills.
