Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Assist senior PM in EPC electric substation projects, handling docs, reports, and coordination.

Tasks

-Provide meaningful performance related feedback/input to appropriate line management and -Accurate project financial reports to project accounting with adequate backup for management, -Management of the client and project stakeholders, ensuring effective business relationships are in -Effective financial controls to ensure project profitability and expected cash flow positions -All aspects of contract negotiation, change order identification, submittal and approval, -Management of the project in accordance with Primoris Policies and Procedures -Effective change control and risk management processes -Project reporting and status for the project team, management, and client -Accurate invoices to ensure timely issuance and payment

What You Bring

-Good analytical and problem-solving skills -Working knowledge of personal computers and software applications with MS office application -Skills in written communications; ability to compose basic documents, formal letters, invoices -Ability to adapt to changing technology and environment -High energy level with the ability to work in a fast paced, ambiguous environment -Good communication, organizational and time management skills -EH&S and Quality programs appropriate for the project -Valid driver’s license and a good driving record -Effective project meetings (project kickoff, client alignment, status meeting, progress review, etc) -Ability and willingness to work and lodge out of town if required -Ability to work in a team environment and collaborating with others to achieve shared goals -0-2 years related work experience demonstrating an aptitude for this type of work
