Tasks
-Recognize quality and implement contractual and HITT quality standards -Ensures that the project Quality Control Plan is followed -Maintains adherence to HITT’s standards of safety -Assists that project staff in resolving scope problems with subcontractors -Monitors the progress of each project through updated schedules -Approach all situations with a customer service oriented attitude -Coach, train and educate assistant level operations team members -Ensures proper assignment and evaluation of field personnel both within the project team and throughout the company -Sustain existing client relationships and develop new client relationships -Carry oneself as a leader and knowledge holder of the project while facilitating the decision-making process -Acquires new work as well as maintaining existing clients -Ensures timely completion of closeout process -Ensures the all job processes are followed in accordance with HITT policies -Collaborate with people of various backgrounds and styles -Leads the preconstruction and RFP package effort with the help of the Preconstruction Department and/or other company resources -Negotiates terms and conditions of contracts with clients -Delegates responsibility when necessary to ensure that the project/tasks run smoothly -Foster positive relationships with colleagues, clients, subcontractors and vendors -Identifies and negotiates time extensions where justified and allowed -Maintains positive relationships with the subcontractor community

What You Bring
-Previous experience in a project management role with the ability to execute multiple projects and/or simultaneously -Communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally, with a strong ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner -Must demonstrate a strong ability to: -Understand and know what tasks are more important than others; discern what needs to be solved immediately and what can wait; ability to multi-task effectively -Exhibit respectfulness by being punctual, engaged/focused, and respectful of others -Adapt and exercise flexibility with the ever-changing world of technology, design, means and methods -A four-year degree from an accredited university with a concentration in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred. -Mastery of reading construction drawings; tasks including reading, interpreting, and updating construction project-related drawings -Knowledge of current market conditions including pricing conventions and trends -Ability to organize necessary resources, including people, tools and time to meet tight deadlines and achieve desired results -Ability to master sector/project-specific software systems including but not limited to: Microsoft Office suite (ex. Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.), ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards -10+ years of experience in commercial construction, including experience with a commercial general contractor -Prior healthcare construction project experience required -In lieu of a degree, additional work experience is acceptable.
