Overview

Collect acoustic data on water mains to locate leaks, working outdoors in NW UK.

Tasks

-Moving heavy items including inspection chamber covers -Deploying and retrieving loggers that record acoustic data used to help locate leakage -Locating water main fittings using plans

What You Bring

-Working in all weather conditions (this could include night work also) -A good standard of basic maths and English -You may be required to work in confined spaces and on highways -Basic IT skills -Willing to work occasional nights, weekends and overtime as required -Have good hearing -Please note mandatory drugs and alcohol tests are undertaken for this role and a DBS check will be undertaken -Tidy and well organised -Full UK driving licence -You will enjoy working outdoors, as most of your work is conducted outside (rain or shine)
