Tasks

-Support functional budgeting / forecasting processes through analytical assessments, such as: -Support Monthly / Quarterly Financial Close process support (JE’s, Results Analysis, etc.) -Analyze cost structures, including labor, materials, and overhead, to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. -Partner with operations and supply chain teams to provide financial insights on production performance and inventory management. -Offer mitigation steps and / or tactics to deliver on performance commitments. -Provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting / analysis of performance versus various markers (i.e., historical, budgeted, forecasted) to facilitate strategic, decision-making processes. -Maintain effective communication and collaboration with functional leaders, operational teams, platform finance as well as corporate teams to achieve common objectives. -Identifying potential risks and opportunities -Maintain productive and collaborative relationships with other Watts employees. -Assist in the preparation of capital expenditure requests and post-investment reviews. -Expense tracking to Plan / Forecast -Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities within existing processes to foster efficiency, collaboration and alignment on key performance drivers. -Perform basic ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decision-making.

What You Bring

-Must successfully establish employment eligibility and satisfactorily complete background checks and required pre-employment testing as a condition of employment. -Ability to remain seated at a desk or workstation for extended periods. -Ability to communicate clearly with management and coworkers, particularly in meetings or phone calls. -Basic understanding of financial concepts and statements. -Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Budget and strategic long term planning input and support (i.e., Investment, Capital Projects, NPD, etc.) -Must demonstrate intellectual curiosity and be willing to ask questions, make recommendations and identify areas for improvement. -Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, phones, and copiers. -BA/BS in Accounting/Finance or other Analytical Field -Ability to read documents, use a computer, and perform data entry tasks. -An analytical mindset with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, etc. -Punctuality and dependability. -Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities and stressful conditions. -Travel Requirements: 10% -Ability to perform repetitive tasks like typing on a keyboard or using a mouse for extended periods. -Adherence to all personnel policies, procedures, and standards of process as implemented by Watts. -Self-motivated, problem solver, strong attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team environment. -Ability to understand/learn HFM, ERP, Cognos/BI -Ability to physically move around the office, organize or transport files, packages, or other office-related materials. -Ability to occasionally lift and carry light objects, such as office supplies, documents, or small equipment. -Must be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. -Superior organization skills, ability to multi-task and rearrange priorities as needed. -Relocation Required after 18-month rotation between North Andover, MA and Franklin, NH.
