The Role

Overview

Coordinate maintenance, servicing and repair of plant/equipment for a large infrastructure project.

Tasks

-Ensure mobile fitters are provided with the necessary spare parts and consumables. -Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. -Verify that all plant, equipment, and vehicles comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. -Monitor spare parts inventory and handle purchasing requests in line with budget and operational needs. -Liaise with Plant Supervisors, Routine and MPM Superintendents to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime. -Manage the receipt and tracking of Plant Repair Requests, hour meter, and mileage readings. -Contribute to Job Safety Analyses and support the implementation of safe work practices. -Maintain an accurate and up-to-date equipment register, including servicing, repair, and utilization records. -Coordinate daily activities related to maintenance, servicing, and repair of plant and equipment. -Maintain organized filing systems and databases for equipment and maintenance documentation. -Assist in managing the maintenance budget, utilization rates, and internal charge-out processes.

What You Bring

-BTS Mechanical. -Solid understanding of mechanical systems and maintenance processes. -Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -Fluent in English. -Up to 1 year' experience in this sector. -Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. -Strong organisational. -Stay 2 years in Australia -Proficient in MS Office.
