What You Bring

-Professional registration in additional states with a preference of Wisconsin, Illinois, South Dakota, and Iowa -Eight to twenty years of previous experience with an emphasis on the design of mechanical facility systems, including HVAC, industrial ventilation for various commercial and/or industrial facilities -Previous experience designing systems for food production facilities -Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Mechanical Engineering -Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or Plant 3D -Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.) -Previous experience working with energy modeling software such as Trane Trace or related -Previous experience with the creation of air balance diagrams, process flow diagrams, piping and instrument diagrams, equipment general arrangement drawings and piping / HVAC plan drawings -Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and flexibility to travel as needed (up to 10%) for team meetings, client consultations, site inspections/visits, construction management duties, etc.; Occasional overnight travel will be required -Prior experience providing and leading Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) reviews -Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop less experienced professionals with an emphasis on technical design standards, quality control, and/or project management practices -Experience with piping and plumbing design -Previous experience with district heating and cooling, lab ventilation, or fire protection -Previous experience with boiler and/or chiller system design for facilities -Demonstrated working knowledge of the project development process, including coordination with other disciplines during design and construction -Ability to apply effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills when developing proposals, negotiating project contracts, preparing technical reports, leading project team meetings, delivering client presentations, and participating in client consultations -LEED certification
