Tasks

-Collaborate with design teams, plant managers, and cross-functional leaders—expanding your network and skill set. -Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate meetings with purchasing, safety, environmental, and engineering stakeholders to ensure seamless execution. -Lead Projects from Concept to Completion: Manage initiatives using the Front-End Loading (FEL) process, preparing documentation and defining scope with engineering teams. -Enhance Efficiency & Safety: Scope projects and recommend solutions that improve processes and protect people. -Drive Technical Improvements: Oversee projects such as pump replacements, valve upgrades, and generator installations, working closely with third-party contractors and design firms. -Own Project Approvals: Present documentation and secure sign-offs for projects ranging from $50K to $200K.

What You Bring

-Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. -Experience with hazardous chemicals. -Familiarity with packaged chemicals or oil/gas industries. -Industry Knowledge: Strong background in chemical manufacturing. -Experience: 2–5 years in project management within a related field.
