The Role
Overview
Develops long-term industry relationships to drive profitable sales of windows/doors.

Tasks
-Creates and demonstrates strong value propositions for each potential customer and provides value engineering options when needed -Investigates tender requests, prepares bids and submits/ presents within the required time frame -Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads -Obtains, updates and demonstrates detailed industry, Company, competitor and product knowledge -Provides product demo's to qualified customers upon request, including appropriate pricing information -Establishes lasting relationships to maximize sales / customer relationship. Specifically, develops long-term relationships with contractors, architects and trade organizations -Informs customers and potential customers on a timely basis of business changes such as product offering, pricing, or assembly options -Completes accurately and submits in a timely manner all documentation necessary to ensure that product can be ordered, and materials and installation scheduled -Estimates delivery dates based on knowledge of Company's production and delivery schedules -Designs and implements a sales plan that will achieve the sales goals detailed above -Provides pro-active after-sales follow-up to ensure positive and acceptable CSR scores -Manages and grows assigned builder accounts -Handles in-bound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales -Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and email to qualify leads and sell products and services -Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained -Investigates and resolves customer enquiries and complaints, escalating to the SM when necessary and appropriate -Makes outbound calls to potential customers -Organizes time and activities to maximize time in front of customers -Represents the organization at all times in a professional, competent manner, in keeping with the high ethical and cultural standards of the organization -Complies with company policies on pricing, discounting, credit and collections to ensure profitability -Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database

-Industry knowledge -Communication skills, especially listening skills -Detailed knowledge and experience of the DURABUILT sales process -Knowledge of company and DURABUILT operations, including installation -Interpersonal skills -Product knowledge -Customer relationship skills -Basic financial skills -Must be able to communicate in written and oral form -Ability to read and interpret plans and blueprints -Competitor knowledge -Time management -Ability to relate across a broad and varied customer base -Intermediate computer literacy -Presentation skills -Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and solve problems -Ability to perform calculations -Driven individual with ability to develop new accounts, retain and service established accounts -Must be able to read/comprehend -Must be prepared to work appropriate hours -Core selling and prospecting skills -Basic knowledge of the construction industry -Able to use electronic software (PQM, MS Office etc.) to quote, sell and order products and assist in providing prompt and on-time delivery
