-Pulling hydraulic cylinders (10-100lbs) -Maintaining equipment. -Making hydraulic hoses -Check fluid levels. -Rebuilding control boxes -Make recommendations regarding the state of the equipment. -Make proper repairs to equipment as needed: -Replacing deck and lift baskets – 2 man -Replacing batteries (80-100lbs) -Completion of weekly and annual lift inspections. -Diagnose issues with various types of equipment (scissor lifts, light and heavy-duty trucks, off road equipment, forklifts, and vehicles)
-Degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanic Engineering from a trade school is a plus. -Replacing drive motors (35-65lbs) -A minimum of one year of mechanical experience is required. -Diagnosing electrical problems -A minimum of one year experience in servicing forklifts and scissor lifts, as well as working with hydraulics and electrical circuitry is a plus. -Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record is required. -Mechanical aptitude is required. -Ability to use a tape measure is required. -Pulling and replacing tires (10-100+lbs) – bar available for heavier tires -High school diploma or GED required. -Replacing electric motors (35-65lbs) -Pulling deck extensions – 2 man -Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel) applications is required.
