Infrastructure Planner

Overview

Design and deliver civil infrastructure projects using Civil 3D, BIM, and coordination.

Tasks

-Design, review and modify the Civil 3D Infrastructure model considering clash detection and removal through Civil 3D. -Contribute to the planning of team workload. -Manage the delivery of BIM models and CAD documentation of designs. -Prepare technical reports, specification and schedules. -Undertake civil infrastructure design and master-planning, from concept stage through to construction. Work typically includes drainage, earthworks, highways, pressurised water networks and other utility co-ordination in Civil 3D software. -Attend and contribute to external workshops with design partners. -Actively participate in the wider BIM community through attendance and participation at office events. -Engage with our vibrant community through the Young Employees Forum, Diversity and Inclusion Forum, and BH Women's Network, fostering a supportive and diverse workplace culture

What You Bring

-Have good communication skills, and be willing to positively interact will all members of the team. -Knowledge and ideally experience of compiling BIM Execution plans -Work with enthusiasm, co-ordinating your work with other internal and external disciplines. -Have developed a technical specialism in a core infrastructure discipline (for example, Highways or Sustainable Drainage). -BE /BTech in civil engineering and postgraduate diploma in Project management/ construction management from reputed institutes -Have a good working knowledge of BIM processes (LOD 300) -Good knowledge of infrastructure projects, coordinated utilities planning, contract management. -Be confident to undertake design tasks with minimal supervision. -Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, AutoCAD. -High level of proficiency in Civil 3D, Infraworks 360. -Ideally be in the range of 3-6 years’ experience in project delivery and management.
