Warehouse Teammate - 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) - No Weekends

Overview

Warehouse teammate picking, packing, inventory control, and shipping orders.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-May be responsible for cycle count. -Use computer to enter records or reference stock. -Compile worksheet or tickets from customer specifications. -Maintain inventory records. -Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. -Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence. -Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments. -Open crates and other containers. -Verify amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Relay discrepancies to proper personnel. -Count or measure items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards. -Read customer orders, vendor packing slips, transfers, and RGAs to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. -Mark materials with identifying information. -Pack and verify customer orders. -Prepare parcels for shipment. -Maintain cleanliness of facility and grounds. -Convey materials and items from receiving areas to storage or to other designated areas.

What You Bring

-1-3 months related experience required -Must have knowledge of Quality Standards and safety measures. -Must be able to regularly lift/move 50-75 pounds, and occasionally lift/move 75-100 pounds. -Basic computer knowledge required. Must be able to utilize database software, inventory software, order-processing systems, and word-processing software. -Strong written and oral communication skills
