Tasks

-Stay informed about emerging technologies that can enhance the planning process. -Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. -Lead the formulation of comprehensive urban visions aligned with sustainable development goals. -Integrate sustainable design principles into urban planning initiatives. -Identify key opportunities for economic growth, infrastructure development, and community enhancement. -Research demographic trends, economic indicators, and urban analytics. -Collaborate with government agencies, developers, community groups, and other stakeholders. -Analyse existing policies and regulations related to urban planning. -Develop and implement long-term urban development strategies and master plans. -Utilize data to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategic plans. -Propose and advocate for new policies that support sustainable urban development. -Ensure land use plans consider environmental sustainability and resilience. -Lead a team of urban planners and professionals. -Develop strategies for green spaces, energy efficiency, and climate resilience. -Stay informed about global best practices and adapt them to the local context. -Promote environmentally friendly practices in urban development. -Manage the entire planning process from concept development to implementation. -Conduct public consultations and workshops to gather input on urban development plans. -Ensure infrastructure planning aligns with the strategic vision of the urban area. -Integrate transportation, utilities, and public services into overall urban plans. -Coordinate with relevant departments to plan and prioritize infrastructure projects. -Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and address concerns through effective communication. -Develop zoning regulations and guidelines to guide development by strategic goals. -Design and implement land use plans that promote efficient land utilization.
