Tasks

As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance across the project. You will work closely with both site management and project personnel to ensure that all HSE policies, procedures, and systems are effectively implemented and continuously improved. -Implement risk mitigation and emergency response plans -Liaise with regulatory agencies and inspectors -Minimise environmental impact of construction activities -Provide HSE training and conduct safety meetings -Conduct site inspections and risk assessments -Develop and enforce safety policies compliant with regulations -Maintain incident records and ensure environmental compliance -Lead investigations of accidents and enforce corrective actions -Conduct emergency drills and maintain response plans -Collaborate with project teams to promote safety culture

What You Bring

Elecnor is seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager to join our dynamic team for an exciting infrastructure project based in Te Aroha, in the Waikato Region of New Zealand. This is not a FIFO or DIDO role. The successful applicant will need to reside within a safe commuting distance to the project in Te Aroha. -Able to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams -At least 5 years experience working in electrical or energy sector projects -Cert IV in Workplace/Occupational Health and Safety (tertiary preferred) -Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills -At least 7 years of experience in a similar HSE management role -Construction Passport -Driver’s licence -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
