The Role

Overview

Assemble and install vehicle components, read schematics, test, and support production.

Tasks

-Test installed components. -Use basic hand tools such as tape measure and specialty equipment. -Maintain work area and shop tools/equipment. -Learn and operate all equipment within the work area (cell). -Effectively assist and train new/current associates. -Adhere to Altec's attendance policy. -Move to other work areas in order to support production needs. (Cross-train) -Install unit vehicle components and accessories. -Support APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in RCI events. -Follow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures and practices to include proper use and care of PPE

What You Bring

-be able to provide a high school diploma/GED. -have the ability to read, write, and comprehend. -have basic computer usage knowledge. -Read and interpret schematics (blueprints) and work orders to understand customer requirements. -currently obtain ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics.
