The Role

Overview

Lead on‑site construction delivery for a large mixed‑use development

Tasks

-Coordinate with project controls, design management, and HSE teams to maintain project performance indicators. -Lead and manage the construction delivery strategy across multiple packages and disciplines. -Ensure timely review and resolution of technical and contractual issues arising during construction. -Drive progress monitoring, risk management, and mitigation planning. -Oversee site execution to ensure adherence to the approved construction plan, specifications, and safety standards. -Chair regular site coordination, progress, and stakeholder meetings. -Provide leadership to site-based construction teams, including package managers and discipline leads. -Review contractors’ construction methodologies, schedules, and resource allocations. -Oversee handover and close-out procedures, ensuring all deliverables and quality requirements are met. -Liaise closely with the client’s representatives, design consultants, and WSP’s internal management to ensure seamless project communication.

What You Bring

-Minimum 20 years of experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership role on large-scale infrastructure, mixed-use, or public realm projects. -Chartered or professional engineering accreditation (e.g., PMP, CEng, PE) is an advantage. -Proven track record in delivering complex, multi-package programs within a PMC or consultant environment. -Strong understanding of construction sequencing, risk management, and cost/schedule control. -Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. -Deep familiarity with local construction regulations, codes, and safety standards. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
