The Role

Overview

Install, maintain, and test DC power systems for critical infrastructure sites.

Tasks

-Read and interpret electrical schematics, site plans, and technical documentation -Collaborate with team members, site contacts, and project managers to ensure timely and quality installations -Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards -Install and commission DC power systems and components (batteries, rectifiers, inverters, etc.) -Travel to customer sites as required -Perform battery builds, testing, and preventive maintenance -Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and site conditions -Route, terminate, and label DC power cabling according to engineering drawings and standards

What You Bring

-CPR/First Aid -Comfortable working in a variety of environments including: -Technical knowledge and certifications -Criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and MVR are required -Familiarity with telecom or data center environments is a plus -Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety -OSHA 10/30 -This position requires travel to different job sites. Overnight stays may be necessary depending on the project location -High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred -1–3 years of experience in DC power installation or related electrical work -Must have adequate vision (with or without corrective lenses) to read schematics, labels, and small print, and hearing sufficient to detect alarms, signals, and verbal instructions in noisy environments -Must have good hand-eye coordination and be able to use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment with precision -Willingness to travel frequently, sometimes on short notice, and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by project schedules -Outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain) and indoor environments with limited climate control -Relevant experience in critical infrastructure sectors -NFPA 70E Electrical Safety -Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds -Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently -Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and arc-flash gear -Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment -Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods throughout the workday
