Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate mechanical designs with structural, piping, and electrical systems.
Assist in the development of design automation tools and templates within Inventor.
Maintain drawing standards and ensure compliance with project and industry codes.
Perform design checks, tolerance analysis, and ensure manufacturability of components.
Work together with the group rather than in isolation to promote a team atmosphere.
Coaches and mentors’ members of the team.
Create part models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings with a focus on mechanical systems and equipment.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into models and drawings.
Interpret engineering sketches and specifications to produce accurate and efficient designs.
Support the preparation of BOMs (Bill of Materials), fabrication drawings, and technical documentation.
Take initiative to pull the team together and accomplish team goals.
Collaborate with engineers and other designers to ensure design intent and project requirements are met.
Develop 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD.

Diploma/Engineering Graduate in Mechanical or Production Engineering with 3 to 7 years of experience.
Being able to understand the implication of adjusting priorities of team members.
You will demonstrate a high level of commitment, flexibility and be eager to accept responsibility and learn new skills, whilst always exercising an active interest in helping to solve problems faced by another team member.
Experience with simulation tools like Inventor Nastran or Ansys for basic FEA.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple design tasks simultaneously.
Knowledge of data management systems and version control practices.
Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, and Vault for mechanical design and documentation.
Familiarity with piping and structural interfaces in mechanical design.
Excellent written and spoken English communication within a business environment.
The ability to automate repetitive design tasks using iLogic or Scripting in Inventor.
Is responsive to meeting internal and external client requirements.
Experience in designing mechanical systems, equipment layouts, and fabrication drawings.
Exposure to Plant 3D, Navisworks, or other BIM tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing processes.
Experience in working on multidisciplinary projects in sectors like Mining, Chemical, or Industrial Plants.
