The Role

Overview

Conduct industrial hygiene field inspections, sampling, and reporting for environmental consulting.

Tasks

-Building inspections and material sampling, data collection and evaluation. -Produce organized and detailed site visit notes that will be incorporated into high-quality technical reports. -Follow, enforce, and maintain corporate policies and procedures. -Coordinate and complete site inspections. -Maintain a culture of safety by ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. -Conduct various field tasks including soil, water, asbestos-containing material (ACM) inspections and sampling, lead and hazardous materials inspections, and indoor air quality and fungal assessments.

What You Bring

-Valid driver’s license and ability to drive to job sites throughout geographic region. -Missouri Lead Inspector Preferred. -40-hr HAZWOPER Preferred. -Abatement oversight and air monitoring. -Must be detail-oriented and a team player. -Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, and the ability to pass a company physical. -Ability to write reports from field notes, lab results, and other documentation. -High School Diploma required. -NIOSH 582 Certification Preferred. -Task management and coordination, client interaction, and data management. -4-10 years of experience with Industrial Hygiene. -Bachelor’s degree in environmental field is recommended but not required. -Missouri Licensed Asbestos Inspector required. -Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. -Ability to work in various settings and climates. -Ability to effectively plan and execute projects, prioritizing work, and communicating scope changes in a timely manner. -Ability to adhere to a Medical Surveillance Program to be able to wear respiratory protection. -Excellent communication, analytical, and organization skills are critical to success in this position.
