Design mechanical switchboards, manage BOMs, ensure data accuracy, support prototyping.
-Assisting in prototype development and testing,and providing technical input on design feasibility. -Developing and maintaining KPIs for engineering data changes. -Standardizing components and assemblies to optimize procurement and manufacturing. -Running ad-hoc reports and supporting order scheduling. -Supporting mechanical design and development of new or modified products, including switchboards and related assemblies. -Preparing sketches, design layouts, and specifications using ProE/Creo -Maintaining BOM structures, managing BOM changes, and verifying BOM quality and accuracy. -Tracking engineering errors and trends and supporting data-driven decision-making.
-Experience with ProE/Creo and product development tools. -Familiarity with PowerPanel, Switchboard, or Switchgear design. -Exposure to low-code platforms such as Mendix. -Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. -Understanding of electrical schematics. -Experience with SAP, Compas, and Snowflake data sources. -Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. -1–5 years of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering; will consider recent college grad with internships..
