Tasks
-Inspect consumable components (Verification, dimensional, etc) in accordance with standard part requirements and drawings -Support the warehouse on traceability issues -Support development and maintenance of the local Quality Management System -Verify that equipment manufactured, assembled, tested within the facility conforms to applicable specifications and agreed customer requirements -Review and report on product quality non-conformance reports (NCRs) and system failures to drive continuous improvements and reduce failure costs -Review/Approve or reject all supplier documents in ERP system -Provide CWI support when required for all the welding-related activities on site. (CSWIP would be advantageous) -Maintaining NDE Equipment -Assist in the calibration team in doing in-house calibration and verification of outsourced calibration activities -Inspect components dimensionally and visually based on drawings and datasheets in line with current processes and procedures -Produce clear and concise test reports -Maintain quality relationships with key functions of the company, including fulfilment, engineering, projects and procurement -Manage efforts to reduce the Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ) by implementing effective solutions in collaboration with relevant teams -Support global quality standards, objectives, and goals -Perform receiving inspections of incoming materials and/or products, customer property -Carry out Non-Destructive Tests on Welds, Structures and Materials (MPI, LPI, DPT, UT)

What You Bring
Due to continued growth, our workshop in HMH in Kintore, Aberdeenshire is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to support the team with NDT, dimensional inspections and, ideally, weld inspections. -Material testing (Hardness, PMI) -ISO 9001 or API Q1 certification would be advantageous -Experienced in manufacturing quality, quality control, quality assurance -CWI or CSWIP would be advantageous (or ability to achieve) -Ability to read and understand technical drawings. -Have knowledge of packaging manufacturing operations -NDE Level II -Counterbalance Forklift certificate (B1) -Experience in the usage of gauges, such as calipers, micrometers and hardness testers to measure and inspect products (metric and imperial) -Compliance with project HSSE Plan, Quality Plan and related requirements
