Tasks

-Working with Councils, community groups, other partners to deliver FCRM outcomes -supporting the teams in their work to assess Flood Risk Permits -giving flood risk advice and guidance to customers and partner organisations, including community groups and local councils -responding to flood risk enquiries and providing data to members of the public -supporting team members in the development of flood risk schemes for our communities -Statutory consultee for planning applications (Town and Country Planning Act 1990), providing advice to councils about the impacts of development -helping to co-ordinate the teams workload -Regulate flood risk activities by assessing applications for Flood Risk Activity Permits, through the Environmental Permitting Regulations
