Tasks

-Prepares Commercial Bid Summary and recommendations -After reviewing plan and agenda with supervisor, conducts meeting and prepares and issues meeting notes delineating important statements, required actions and schedules -Directs negotiation in the commitment of subcontracts -Conforms and ensures subcontract execution -Receives bids and evaluates bids commercially -Recommends and secures approvals in accordance with established procedures -Develops and issues subcontracts and services agreements as assigned -Prepares and organizes assigned meetings, such as pre-bid, bid clarification and pre-award meetings, for the purpose of ensuring complete understanding and agreement between Bechtel, the customer and contractor on all contractual matters -Coordinates bidders’ questions and answers to those questions -Prepares subcontract documents for execution -Prepares bidders’ lists and pre-qualifies bidders -Forms bid request packages and issues bid request packages to approved bidders

What You Bring

-Experience in change management procedures pertaining to Requests for Information (RFIs), change notices, change orders, amendments, and claims and dispute resolution. -Experience in a wide range of contract types and associated pricing arrangements. -Experience in negotiating terms and conditions -Demonstrated skills in working and communicating effectively with all levels of project functional groups. -Experience in formation activities, award of moderately complex construction contracts and services contracts.
