What You Bring
-Appointment to Range D (Resident Engineer) requires a valid Professional Engineer (Civil) license issued by the California Board of Registration for Professional Engineers. For all other ranges, a PE license is not required. -Relevant and related experience related to Project Management or related fields, examples of effective and clear communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills. -Current version of the State Examination/Employment Application STD Form 678 (when not applying electronically), or the Electronic State Employment Application through your Applicant Account at www.CalCareers.ca.gov. All Experience and Education relating to the Minimum Qualifications listed on the Classification Specification should be included to demonstrate how you meet the Minimum Qualifications for the position. -Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle. -Your proficiency working with computers, Microsoft Outlook, the Microsoft Office application suite (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and other programs as necessary. -Your ability to analyze problems and recommend an effective course of action.
