Perform construction surveys, layout, and mapping using Trimble GPS equipment.

Tasks

-Verify locations of structures -Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling over 50 lbs will be done with assistance of another team member or equipment. -Set up and operate Trimble GPS equipment, including base station, SCS 900 software, GCS 900, and laser level -Perform basic surveying computations and plan reading -Guide new construction work through layout -Survey existing conditions of proposed work sites -Perform survey note taking -Build and maintain effective relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds and organizational levels -Care for, clean, and use surveying tools and equipment

What You Bring

-CTS level 1 or equivalent preferred -Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements -Current driver’s license -*Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs. -Ability to operate equipment including but not limited to Base Station, SCS 900, GCS 900, and laser level -Our postings are typically open a minimum of 5 days and an average of 44 days. -(for Non-Craft & Non-Union Craft working 25+ hours / week) -Ability to work independently -Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback -Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.). We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time. -Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. -Minimum one year of related construction experience
