Manages safety, health, and environmental programs and compliance on construction sites.

Tasks

-Review/assist superintendents with project specific safety plans. -Represents the Company at meetings of safety professionals, alliances, associations, etc. -SDS books – Provide sources for projects to obtain, ensure that projects have required information on-site. -Safety training and tracking of said training, for project personnel. -Addresses and provides resources and solutions for environmental and hazardous material issues and concerns. -Keeper of the site safety records. -Accident investigations, including written reports. -Oversees the site’s craft/hourly drug testing program.

What You Bring

-High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. -Bachelor of Science in Safety & Environmental Health or Construction Management/Engineering Degree. -Commercial construction safety experience -First aid training to ensure supervisors have required up-to-date first aid cards. -Demonstrates proficiency using a personal computer (PC) and company communication tools, such as email, internet, and Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel, Office, Outlook). -5 years or more of commercial construction safety experience in a Safety Manager role. -Local market experience helpful, but, not required. -40 Hour EM385 -5 years or more of supervisory experience related to staff and subcontractors. -OSHA 30 required.
