Overview

Design and deliver water/wastewater treatment projects from concept to construction.

Tasks

-Process modeling for wastewater treatment and resource recovery systems for biosolids, energy, and nutrient management. -Make site visits during design and construction to observe the construction installation. -Review construction shop drawings and submittals for compliance with project design documents. -Production of contract documents including plans and specifications. -Prepare construction and design cost estimates. -Perform engineering duties in planning and designing water and wastewater pipelines, storage, and treatment systems. -Perform pipeline hydraulic flow and pressure calculations.

What You Bring

-A minimum of 0-5 years of experience is required. -Familiarity with production tools, or modeling and design software is a plus. -Responsible for or willingness to learn project management, client interface and business development of future projects. -Experience in water and wastewater systems is required. -Possess strong organizational and time management skills. -Ability to work independently. -Ability to work and communicate well will other design disciplines. -Bachelor’s/Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited University or NCEES equivalent. -Experience working with local municipalities and utility companies. -Strong oral and written communication skills.
