The Role
Overview
Deliver equipment/materials, load/unload, manage inventory, and support warehouse operations.

Tasks
-Interact respectfully and courteously with coworkers at all times. -Deliver materials to project sites as needed. -Accurately label and identify all incoming materials by project. -Adhere to systems for tracking materials removed from the warehouse for inventory and job costing purposes. -Participate in scheduled warehouse inventories—monthly, quarterly, and annually. -Provide support at job sites when required. -Be aware of OSHA safety requirements and enforce in all areas. -Follow established procedures for monitoring all materials brought into the warehouse for inventory tracking. -Perform hands-on movement of materials, including managing incoming and outgoing deliveries, and loading/unloading vehicles. -Follow procedures for scheduling and tracking all outgoing job deliveries. -Conduct weekly spot checks to assess inventory levels and identify replenishment needs. -Assist with general warehouse tasks such as trash removal, unloading and disposing of returned materials, yard cleaning, and mowing. -Assist the Warehouse Team Lead (WTL) with routine inspections of all department vehicles and tools for signs of wear and tear. -Comply with processes for scheduling and tracking incoming deliveries, verifying packing slips, forwarding documentation to accounting, and updating the Ordered Materials/Equipment Sheet. -Maintain accurate records of specialized tools and equipment checked out to field personnel.

What You Bring
-Ability to work 40 - 45 hours a week. -This position requires a high-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. -Ability to perform additional physical activities that require considerable use of limbs and appendages such as climbing, lifting, reaching above shoulders, balancing, walking, stooping, and kneeling. Ability to lift, move, and handle 80 lbs. tools or materials. Environmental conditions range from outdoors at all times of the year to indoors at normal office conditions to indoor tempered warehouse areas. -Excellent forklift skills and forklift license are -Possess a clean, valid NC Class C Driver’s License. -Must adhere to and participate in the company safety program.
