Tasks

🏗️ Revit model development of the CS&A and Mechanical Piping elements to be undertaken with support from CS&A & Mechanical Lead Engineers. 🔧 To produce engineering design work packages (specification, drawings, verification or assessment of engineering) that satisfy the legal and functional requirements along with the associated performance conditions to the agreed time, cost and quality. 📐 Supporting the delivery of the CS&A design deliverables (e.g. designs, assessments, drawings, and reports), checking and approving the output.

What You Bring

☢️ Experienced in delivering work within the nuclear industry (preferred). Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level. 📄 Minimum HNC, preferred HND in Civil Engineering or similar, with 5 or more years design delivery experience. Alternatively, a degree in Civil Engineering (BEng or MEng) with a minimum of 2 years’ design delivery experience ⏳ Experience of working within a highly regulated industry, preferably within the nuclear industry.🧰 Familiar with a range of available design technologies and techniques📄 Production of CS&A design documents, e.g. civil and structural calculations (design/assessment/substantiation), engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, method statements🏗️ Qualified and experienced user of Autodesk Revit⚠️Experience of steelwork design with knowledge of the relevant design standards and legislation, e.g., Eurocode 3, BS5950-1.🧑‍💼 Capable of independent and autonomous work during the delivery of packages🤝 Able to actively seek input from other engineers, specialists, facility and project team members to improve understanding and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions🗣️ Able to present information clearly, tailored to a variety of target audiences 🎓 The person should be either a Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer, or at minimum an Incorporated Engineer. 📈 Working towards Chartered Engineer status☢️ Experience of mechanical piping design with knowledge of the relevant design standards and legislation, e.g., ASME B31.3, PER and PSSR.🌍Qualifications to demonstrate training has been undertaken for Revit
