The Role

Administrative support for project managers and office coordination in electrical contracting.

Tasks

-Assist in drafting correspondence, reports, and presentations related to project progress -Facilitate communication between project team members -Serve as a liaison between Field staff, office personnel, vendors, and clients. -Coordinate travel and lodging as required -Assist with organizing Office and Field Events -Assist Project Manager in the coordination of project activities, including Create Job folders and project startup sheets, Requesting tax exempt and Insurance certificates -Provide Office support including It Requests, new hire requests, and managing and ordering office supplies -Schedule meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and take meeting minutes as required -Work with Safety for onboarding and employee records. -Provide general administrative support to team including data entry, filing, and record-keeping as well as employee tracking -File and submission of new hire paperwork

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks -Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail -Ability to carry up to 20 pounds -High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in project management or electrical engineering is a plus -Ability to sit for long periods of time -Must be able to stand, bend, lift and move intermittently -Ability to withstand extended exposure to a computer monitor, which may at times be straining on the eyes -Prior experience in administrative or project support roles, preferably in the construction or electrical industry -Previous experience in a similar role within the electrical contracting or construction industry preferred -Knowledge of electrical systems, terminology, and construction processes is a plus -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project management software
