Tasks
-Develop and implement quality control/assurance processes while evaluating existing manufacturing processes for areas of improvement. -Coordinate with suppliers to ensure quality of raw materials. -Visit customers and job sites, understanding improvements in the product, methods, and packaging to support efficiency for our customers. -Work with testing and auditing vendors to ensure equipment is maintained at correct calibrations. -Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. -Determine a process to provide certificates of conformance on all products shipped as part of OES CFS warranty process. -Recommend process adjustments to enhance product quality. -Utilize methodologies such as Six Sigma to drive process improvements and achieve operational excellence. -Train staff in proper quality control procedures. -Gather and analyze production data to monitor performance metrics. Scope may include time studies for various operations in the manufacturing process. -Develop a quality and process improvement plan to increase efficiency at all locations. -Perform audits on processes and products. -Identify the software and processes required to maintain product quality data and participate in technology roadmap discussions to identify and communicate requirements. -Report on quality data and process efficiency to demonstrate improvements. -Create and maintain documentation for quality assurance purposes. -Utilize A3 approach to determine current state and future state. -Maintain quality manuals. -Identify trends and root causes of production issues or defective products, implementing corrective actions, as necessary. Present findings from root cause analysis to the OES CFS team.

What You Bring
-Project management experience preferred. -In-depth understanding of quality control procedures. -Conflict resolution and critical thinking capabilities. -Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and Lean manufacturing principles -Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a team. -Knowledge of risk management principles. -Experience with quality control software. -Ability to schedule and manage tasks efficiently. -Ability to influence a team. -Excellent organizational and leadership skills -Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. at times. -Familiarity with quality standards. -Proficient in personal computer and business solutions software. -Certifications such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) preferred. -Strong attention to detail. -Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques. -Understanding quality assurance techniques and practices. -Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance or a related field plus 1 year of relevant experience, or equivalent relevant work experience (at least 3 years of relevant work experience). -Competent in written and verbal communication. -Basic knowledge of ERP systems, financial tools, Smartsheet, Microsoft Office Suite, and Autodesk products are beneficial. -Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role. -Strong analytical, technical, and critical thinking skills. -Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
