Tasks
As an Estimator, you are the driving force behind our success. Your work will support operations and management. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments of telecommunication projects to determine electrical requirements, while collaborating with project managers & engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimations. All while identifying potential risks associated with and providing recommendations to mitigate these risks. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing company data, preparing detailed electrical estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs. Your construction cost estimations will be based on drawings of electrical plans and use of computer estimating software (Accubid,Bluebeam) to assist in the projections of electrical installations.

Estimators are experienced, detail-orientated individuals that Support Managers, Superintendents, and other leadership roles. Some of the other duties include assisting with daily documentation, tracking, reporting, and analyzing of data. Cannon Companies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction phase, providing accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects. -Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical code requirements -Proven experience providing electrical estimating services for commercial and federal projects. -Willingness to submit to a background and drug screening upon hire-this is a Safety Sensitive role; possibly on a Military base -Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (not required but desired) -Experience in estimating using Accubid software. -Willingness to travel for proposal opportunities out of side of Washington State. -Demonstrated understanding of Electrical telecommunication construction or infrastructure project management concepts. -4+ years of direct or related experience
