Overview

Coordinate daily waste transport logistics, route planning, and customer service

Tasks

-React to and manage customer queries and complaints in an effective and timely manner -Day-to-day management of service delivery, including the dynamic allocation of work to vehicles/routes. Route planning , analysing data, setting schedules and coordinating a team of drivers. -Face-to-face engagement with drivers, supporting them to address any issues on route -Reporting of all safety concerns or container damage and encouraging ‘stop the job’ if it is deemed unsafe to continue -Proactively communicate with customers. Manage and maintain accurate records and documentation related to service requests, waste transfer and customer interactions -Ensuring Veolia legal compliance on-site (WTD, O’licence and transport compliance) -Completing debriefs with front line staff and reporting necessary actions or updates as required

What You Bring

-Experienced IT Skills, and the ability to adapt to Google operating systems -Able to demonstrate an understanding of transport compliance and WTD -Good communication skills, communicating with people of all levels including drivers, frontline employees and customers -Previous experience operating within a similar industry; waste/transport/logistics -Ability to organise a busy workload and operate at a fast pace -Experience working with a quality management system e.g. ISO Managing transport compliance.
