Railroad Signal Maintainer

Overview

Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot railroad signal systems per FRA regulations.

Tasks

-Verifies basic site information against circuit plans -Cleans and maintains job site, tools, and vehicles. -Maintains compliance with all FRA, OSHA, Faith Technologies, and customer-specific safety requirements along with immediately identifying, correcting, and/or reporting any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner. -Actively participates in railroad designated PPE requirements

-Properly uses Signal Technician test equipment & required tools -Ability to properly perform Monthly, Quarterly, Annual inspections without direct supervision -Complies with and understands Signalman Hours of Service regulations -Displays basic railroad signal troubleshooting skills -Reads and understands Railroad Timetable document -Works as a member of a cohesive team while demonstrating ability to work without direct supervision.
