Manage external communications for members and the website provider and lead the composition and publication of material on CIGRE's digital and social media platforms. This also includes receiving and processing all CIGRE and CIGRE Canada – related correspondence that is received by the office, or forward to appropriate CIGRE Canada executive as may be required;
Banking – getting proper authorization and ensure that all invoices are paid in a timely manner. This also includes maintaining accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Organize and participate in Executive Committee meetings – send out meeting notices, secure location (or set up video call if appropriate), send out materials in advance of the meeting and attend the meeting to take notes for distribution. Provide administrative support where required including presentation slides, board documents, member correspondence, etc;
Coordinate CIGRE activities with the Conference provider for the annual CIGRE Canada Conferences (held in different Canadian locales) and provide support as may be required to CIGRE head office in Paris for the biennial conference usually held in Paris;
Support the Power Grids Business Unit as the AtkinsRealis contact to our major Canadian Utility clients and others members of CIGRE;

Excellent communication skills in English*, French would be a plus.
Active, hands-on experience, ideally in similar administrative / event planning roles.
This position requires proficiency in a language other than French, namely English, as you will be part of a Canadian, global, or regional leadership team and will need to collaborate with colleagues located outside of Quebec.
Degree in marketing or a related field
Detail oriented – Strong organization and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Communications, Business Administration or Administrative Assistance experience.
Junior profile or with initial experience relevant to the position
Able to work independently, be a self-starter and resourceful.
