Lead MEP design, calculations, drawings, and mentor junior engineers

Tasks

-Carryout preparation of Technical submittals of various materials, equipment's etc., -Complete timesheet accurately ahead of weekly deadlines. -Carry out detailed design, calculations & drawings. -Team in association with the Local CRC Head of MEP any variance between the works constructed and the design intent -Carry out regular design reviews -Identify and flag additional fees to the Local CRC Head of MEP -Lead the design process and encourage the rest of the team to deliver appropriate and cost effective solutions to the agreed programme. -Receive, analyze and evaluate quotations suiting our requirements. -Prepare heat load calculations -Participate in team meetings, disseminate information within the team, and communicate with other teams in WSP -Preparation of IFC Drawings, Schedules, Datasheets schematics and P&ID

What You Bring

-Understand the specifications and tender conditions accordingly design. -Ability to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision. -Must be fully conversant with technical software, such as Hevacomp, -knowledge about other services like electrical, PHE etc. to carryout design co-ordination -Excellent working knowledge of ISHRAE, ASHRAE and good working knowledge of ME codes would be advantageous. -Should possess membership to an accredited engineering body i.e. MIET, CIBSE, INSRAE, ASHRAE -Good presentation skills are also required -Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. -Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, MEP & other drafting soft wares
