Overview

Design electrical 3D models and 2D drawings for the Sentinel program using SmartPlant.

Tasks

-Creating bill of materials and drawing installation details for the modelled items listed above in addition to grounding, lightning protection, support details, and other details using SmartSketch and AutoCAD. -Support production for physical design implementation by producing drawings of interior and exterior layouts/plans/elevation views of the raceway design (conduit/cable tray/duct bank), equipment location and layout, lighting layouts, lightning protection layouts, and grounding plans. -Coordinate with Systems engineering department to establish and verify design/project requirements. -Performing calculations utilizing AGI 32 for lighting layouts and ETAP for ground grid layouts -Assist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines. -Develop material specifications utilizing the software SpecsIntact -Modeling of electrical rooms, equipment, cable tray, conduit, conduit duct bank, lighting, receptacles, etc. in a Smartplant 3D model environment.

What You Bring

-Requires an AA/AS or Certificate of Engineering/CAD with 1-2 years of experience or 4-5 years of relevant work experience -Capable of independent creative design, with direction, using Bechtel and industry-proven concepts, and procedures. Ensures electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards
