Tasks

-Assist in resolving any pricing discrepancies with vendors. -Ensure all purchasing activities comply with relevant laws and ethical standards. -Provide support to production cells as needed. -Timely address and rectify issues related to invoicing and shipping. -Maintain and update order promise dates regularly. -Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives for cost savings improvements through waste elimination. -Maintain appropriate inventory levels to avoid shortages and excesses. -Identify cost savings opportunities in line with quality, service, and supply constraints -Act as a point of contact for vendors regarding order acknowledgment and confirmation. -Support in forecasting the demand for materials and services, and the timely placement of purchase orders.

What You Bring

-Preferred bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. -Experience in Microsoft Office. -Safety glasses required while on factory floor -Ability to keep information confidential -Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
