The Role
Overview
Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing for small to large projects.

Tasks
-Works with and coordinates with architectural, interiors, and other engineering disciplines. -Work within project scope, budgets, and design approach to deliver projects to clients on time, on budget, and at a high level of client service. -Communicate design issues and solutions with the design team and owner clients. -Complete calculations and drawings for small projects under Senior Engineer’s guidance. -Perform calculations using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software. -Assist with development of design standards. -Perform Construction Administration duties including completing field observations reports, responding to RFIs, submittal reviews, and evaluating contractor change orders.

What You Bring
-Basic understanding of Revit, and the use of it as a drafting/design tool -Experience with general business software (Microsoft Office suite). -Ability to interpret sketches, drawings, building programs and other similar materials -Understand industry standard design processes and understanding of construction means and methods. -Basic knowledge and understanding of structural building codes and requirements. -Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought -Experience with industry standard Structural Engineering software (CSI, RISA, RAM, etc.). -Thorough understanding of structural engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others -Finite Element Analysis Software such as RISA and SAP -Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form concepts and ideas to a diverse audience of architects, engineers, and owner clients effectively. -Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record. -Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and combination of work related is required. -Experience with modeling software (Autodesk Revit). -NCEES EIT. -Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Revit and AutoCAD
