What You Bring

-Proficiency with MS Office software required -Demonstrates knowledge of the discipline’s technical processes -Experience with project budgeting required -Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) -Ability to collaborate in planning, design, and construction activities -Ability to resolve matters timely and lead projects to completion with a sense of urgency -Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Energy Systems Engineering required -Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and effectively work in a collaborative environment, maintaining positive relationships with coworkers, managers, clients, contractors, consultants, and members of the public -Minimum of 4 years of discipline specific engineering experience required; previous project or team management experience preferred -Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company -Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team -Demonstrated industry knowledge of the design, construction, and management of HVAC and thermal energy (steam, hot water, chilled water, and tower water) systems and equipment -An articulate and persuasive communicator with effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences, including one-on-one and in front of large groups -Ability to demonstrate technical proficiency in his/her respective discipline -Professional Engineer (PE) license required -Demonstrates a basic understanding of accounting processes -Demonstrates a strong knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with the proven ability to practically apply engineering best practices -Familiar with QA/QC procedures and understands basic business practices and laws related to engineering
