Operate loaders, transport materials, and maintain equipment safely.

Tasks

-Identify and report cross-contamination risks and environmental hazards (e.g., odors, litter, pests). -Complete required training, including SMI safety standards and loader operation demonstration. -Perform preventative maintenance and refuel loader using safe practices. -Load trucks, hoppers, and move materials to designated areas while tracking load counts. -Safely operate and inspect loader; report any unsafe conditions or maintenance needs. -Report all incidents, accidents, or near misses to the shift supervisor. -Operate additional equipment as needed (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks, other heavy machinery). -Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
