Tasks

The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall plant operations, including all production and ensuring all employees strive to meet the standards set forth by the company for Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Preventative maintenance, and Bottom-line results. -Inspire, train and coach team members on daily responsibilities, procedures, or process changes -Provide leadership and direction for overall production in accordance with our vision and values -Work with Site Manager and Production Manager to improve manufacturing processes and ensure quality of products while maintaining a safe work environment -Plan and direct the layout of equipment, workflow and workforce utilization as well as participating in the procurement of raw materials, supplies and other production needs -Direct all plant manufacturing processes and ensure quality products while maintaining a safe work environment -Review production reports and profit-loss statements -Communicate necessary information and issues to employees and management -Plan and coordinate efficient use of employees, materials, and machine to meet business goals -Monitor performance of each team member and provide feedback -Planning and establishing work schedules, assignments and production sequences to meet production goals -Responsible for the day-to-day operations of all production employees

What You Bring

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Proficient in MS Office suite, web-based data management tools and Internet applications -Strong background in maintenance with an understanding of processes and equipment -Prior experience managing people in production, equipment, maintenance and/or quality control -Bachelor's degree and/or 5+ years as a plant manager in a similar industry or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience -Ability to interpret production reports and P&L statements
