Tasks

-Manage studies and Environment-orientated projects as assigned. -Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the Oil and Gas Business Unit. Understand and follow OH&S procedures. -Management, technical execution, and completion of engineering assigned tasks in a specific Environment discipline area. -Liaison and coordination with other engineers and discipline groups on the contract to effect timely production of deliverables. -Training and mentoring of new Environment engineering graduates to enable them to achieve professional membership. -Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the Oil and Gas Business Unit. -To provide innovative and cost-effective solutions to clients for operating problems and capacity constraints in their existing oil and gas and petrochemical operations. -Responsible for the progress and quality of assigned tasks within the environment area, including the supervision of engineers and graduates. -Technical writing activities, in particular, the production of technical reports and operating manuals. -To ensure all work carried out conforms with agreed codes and practices, meets all requirements of the contract’s specification, and ensures all work is carried out within agreed schedules, budgets, and procedures. -Coordination of specified tasks within the environmental engineering discipline. -Assisting the project engineers in the coordination and preparation of input into the contract documents for each discipline area, including design criteria, the scope of work, procedures, and design approach -You will be seen as the Subject matter specialist for the resolution of issues arising across all areas of the job and be able to clearly explain complex processes that surround the role. -Development and improvement of company standards and Environment design methods. -We expect you to mentor of less experienced members of staff including ‘hands on’ approach to the formulation and delivery of training programs for local Kuwaiti personnel. -We expect you to ensure the integrity of the work scope and that all work is carried-out in accordance with applicable codes and standards.

What You Bring

-You will have the ability to interact effectively with people of all nationalities & cultures while using clear, fluent, and expressive verbal and written language to convey information and ideas. An individual with excellent communication and people skills, a consummate developer of relationship(s) on a sustainable and long-term basis. -You will demonstrate an ability to lead/coach/mentor colleagues and/or staff. -You will possess either an engineering degree in Environment or Chemical and/or an equivalent diploma from an accredited college or university. This is an essential contractual requirement. -You will be willing to engage and manage clients as required by the needs of the business and if deemed necessary by the Worley management. -You must have work experience working within PMC projects in the above-mentioned industries. -You will have broad based knowledge of the requirements for process engineering through all phases of project life cycle, from FEED through to Commissioning, within Oil & Gas or related industries. -You will have the ability to work under tight time constraints with excellent time management and planning skills as well as manage multiple priorities. -You will have experience working with advanced engineering tools, data systems & other general office / engineering software will be given first preference.
