Supply Chain Project Lead

Overview

Ensures material readiness and on‑time delivery through procurement and supplier coordination.

Tasks

-Mitigate Delivery Issues & Continuous Improvement -Review and validate BOMs (Buyout list) for accuracy and completeness before order placement. -Support tactical supply chain KPIs such as on-time delivery to production, supplier adherence to -Participate in internal and external (Customer led) project/program team meetings to provide supply -Track and report material readiness status, highlighting risks to production schedules. -Partner with Category Managers to ensure agreements and preferred supplier contracts are in place. -Collaboration: Builds effective relationships across suppliers and internal stakeholders. -Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including standardizing expediting protocols and -Identify missing part data and proactively resolve with Engineering/Design teams. -Work with Warehousing teams to ensure parts are received, inspected, and staged/isolated for -Validate purchase orders (POs) are placed in the required timeframe to support production -Work with buyers to identify and resolve procurement or delivery delays, securing engagement from -Collaborate with Category Managers on supplier performance issues, escalating when corrective -Ensure lead-times with suppliers meet production schedule requirements; highlight risks and -Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to material shortages or delivery risks. -Provide clear and timely updates to project teams and leadership. -Ensures all Procurement activities are carried out with a high sense of urgency. -Ensure buyout lists are issued in a timely manner to support on-time order placement in alignment

What You Bring

-ERP/MRP experience required; SAP strongly preferred. -Agility: Adjusts quickly to shifting priorities and production demands. -Intermediate to advanced Excel and data analysis skills. -High Performance: Operates effectively in high-pressure environments with a solutions mindset. -Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). -Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. -Visual, auditory, and computer usage skills. -7+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or materials management within a manufacturing or project-based environment. -Ability to sit for long periods of time. -Excellent communication skills, with ability to influence and secure engagement across suppliers and internal teams.
