Tasks

-Collaborate closely with internal teams, including consultants, project managers, and subject matter experts, to develop tailored solutions and proposals that meet client needs and address industry challenges. -Represent Westwood at industry conferences, events, and networking forums to raise awareness of our brand, build relationships, and generate leads. -Lead the development and presentation of proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing our firm's expertise, capabilities, and value proposition. -Maintain and nurture ongoing relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and seeking opportunities for additional engagements and upselling of services. -Identify and cultivate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building with utility executives, decision-makers, and stakeholders. -Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets within the electric utility industry. -Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact through contract negotiation and close, ensuring a seamless transition to project delivery teams. -Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting the electric utility sector, and leverage insights to inform business development strategies. -Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, client needs, and competitive landscape within the electric utility sector. -Provide regular reporting and updates on sales pipeline, client interactions, and business development activities to senior management.
